The Pard Leopard 640 is a premium handheld thermal monocular combining cutting-edge thermal imaging with a compact and ergonomic design. Equipped with a high-quality AMOLED display, precision optics, and industry-leading sensor sensitivity, it delivers superior performance for hunting, wildlife observation, and professional outdoor applications.
The Leopard series represents Pard’s most advanced thermal monocular lineup, officially introduced in 2024. It is available in 640x512 and 480x360 sensor configurations, with objective lens choices of 25mm or 35mm. These thermal viewers are built for versatility, combining low power consumption, intuitive controls, and robust construction. Optimized for demanding users, they provide excellent image quality in all weather and lighting conditions.
The Leopard 640 with a 35mm lens is the flagship variant in the series, offering a high-performance 640x512 VOx uncooled thermal sensor with a 12 µm pixel pitch and a NETD of ≤20 mK. This ensures ultra-sensitive thermal detection, making it effective even in rain, fog, or dense foliage. Its 2.2x optical magnification, wide field of view (21.8 x 17.4 meters at 100 meters), and up to 1800-meter detection range provide excellent situational awareness.
The unit features a sharp 1920x1080 AMOLED display with three scene modes (City, Rain, Forest) and six thermal imaging color palettes (White Hot, Black Hot, Edge, Red Hot, Iron Hot, Sky). Digital zoom options up to 8x allow magnification flexibility, while Pard’s advanced IREA image engine enhances clarity and precision.
Additional features include PIP (picture-in-picture) mode, hot tracking, gyroscope, e-compass, mechanical shutter calibration, and loop recording. Users can capture 1440x1080 resolution photos and videos and store them on a microSD card (up to 128GB). Connectivity options include USB Type-C, HDMI output, and Wi-Fi streaming via the PardVision2 app for real-time sharing and firmware upgrades.
Powered by a single 18650 lithium-ion battery, the Leopard 640 offers up to 6 hours of runtime and can be recharged using USB-C. With a weight of only 330g, IP67-rated waterproofing, and a rugged housing made from aluminum alloy and composite materials, it’s ideal for tough outdoor use in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +55°C.
