The Meprolight R4E Optimized Duty Sights are designed to enhance target acquisition speed and accuracy for Glock pistols. Developed by U.S. Special Forces veterans, these sights feature a unique reticle-like sight picture, combining three vertical and two horizontal alignment elements. This design leverages the brain's instinctive ability to find symmetry, facilitating rapid sight alignment. The tritium-enhanced lines on the rear sight and the tritium dot with a luminous vertical line on the front sight ensure precise alignment in low-light conditions. Additionally, the reverse slope of both the front and rear sights allows for one-handed slide racking using various surfaces, enhancing operational versatility.
