DESCRIPTION

The rubber OverMolding gives a super comfortable, non slip grasping area that insulates your hand from the heat produced during rapid fire.

This Hogue AR15 Free Floating Forend combines the advantages of a free-float tube with Hogue's proprietary rubber overmolding. The result is increased accuracy and comfort, plus a positive grip in all conditions. The handguard is made from a solid aluminum tube. However, there are two sections, one housing the integral barrel nut and a thinner tube section with rubber overmolding to provide secure grip.

FEATURES

• Forends work with all barrel types that will work with a standard Delta ring.
• Will not fit rifles with Piston Gas Systems.
• Will fit older model ARs and M-16s with triangular shaped handguard.
• Coupler Nut Torque specs: 30-80 ft/lbs
• Made of 6061 aircraft aluminum with a molded non-slip elastomer layer on the outside.
