Glock 33 Round Magazine 9mm

The Glock 33 round magazine is a composite steel and polymer fabrication. Sometimes referred to as a Glock “Happy Stick.” The extended capacity magazine is only available in 9mm. The mag encases a toughened and hardened steel insert in layer of Polymer 2. Glock polymer 2 was invented by Glock. This is a high strength nylon-based polymer. As a result, this polymer makes the Glock Magazine incredibly durable.

• Glock Extended Capacity Magazine: Extended capacity magazines for 9mm Parabellum have been around since the mid-eighties. What makes the Glock “Happy Stick” so ultra reliable is its pedigree. When Glock developed the selective fire Glock 18 for EKO Cobra in 1982, a high capacity magazine was part of the brief. The Austrian counter-terrorist group, COBRA, required a magazine that would feed without jamming. Period. As a result of the G18 ’s rate of fire of around 20 rounds per second, this is an exceptional engineering achievement.
• Polymer 2: Polymer 2 is more resilient than steel. Consequently, this composite magazine assembly can withstand a lot of abuse and still continue functioning. Especially relevant is that this magazine will withstand visible damage or deformation after being dropped on solid floors from considerable height.
• Witness Holes: There are only 31 witness holes on the rear of this magazine. The Glock Happy Stick has a plus 2 shoe fitted and is marked 4422-02. Older Glock 33 round magazine variants originally made for the G18 have no part number. Older mags are just marked – Glock Austria. Again, they have only 31 witness holes.
• Reliable ammunition Feeding: Only selected and expertly heat treated steels make up the magazine spring. As a result of the accurately manufactured spring and follower, the Glock Happy Stick feeds ammunition with total reliability. The magazine body has twin cuts. Due to this, the Glock Magazine 33 rounds is compatible with all Glock Gen 4 and Gen5 semi-auto pistols with the magazine catch in left or right-handed configuration.
• Glock 33 Round Magazine Spring: Spring set is a scientific fact. Load you mag to capacity and leave it in a cupboard for a few years and the magazine spring will experience permanent spring set. Permanent set in a spring is a condition where the spring is deflected (compressed) and does not return to its original free length. While the spring will still function, the load that it produces may be at a lower height and usually less than originally desired. The solution? Replace your mag spring regularly to ensure optimal performance.
