DESCRIPTION
Swarovski's new dG Digital Guide is truly ground-breaking! In a nutshell, it's an 8x25 monocular that lets you view, take a photo or video with one button, which uses the built-in Wi-Fi hotspot to send the photo to your smartphone or tablet, where Merlin offers ID options!
Housed within a remarkably ergonomic, rubber-armored, waterproof, flying saucer shape is a Swarovski sharp, bright 8x25 Monocular. It offers an ample eye relief and a comfortable 357' field of view. The built-in 13 MP digital camera has its own lens (about 10x) and image stabilization.
It all comes together after you download the Swarovski Optik dG app to your smartphone or tablet, and you may install it on up to 5 devices. You will also need Merlin Bird ID (free) on your smartphone. The Wi-Fi hotspot has a range of up to 16' (4.8m). The rechargeable Li-Ion battery lasts up to 6 hours of intermittent use.
