The Leopard thermal monoculars are Pard’s latest innovation in handheld thermal imaging, introduced in 2024. Designed to be lightweight yet rugged, these devices offer options with or without integrated LRFs and are available with both 480x360 and 640x512 resolution sensors. All models feature intuitive controls, compact form factors, and advanced imaging powered by the Pard IREA engine. The Leopard series is suited for wildlife observation, tactical use, and search & rescue operations in diverse conditions.
The Leopard 480 LE4-35 LRF is fitted with a 480x360 resolution VOx thermal sensor boasting a 12 µm pixel pitch and NETD ≤20 mK, ensuring thermal detail clarity even in fog, rain, or darkness. Paired with a 35mm objective lens, this monocular delivers an optical magnification of 2.8x, with a detection range of up to 1800 meters and an angular field of view of 16.4° diagonal.
The unit integrates a precise laser rangefinder (LRF) with a measuring distance of up to 1000 meters, making it ideal for accurate distance estimation in the field. The 1920x1080 AMOLED display offers high-definition visuals with selectable scene modes (City, Rain, Forest) and six thermal palettes, including White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Iron Hot, Edge, and Sky.
Advanced features like PIP (picture-in-picture), hot tracking, gyroscope, mechanical shutter, and e-compass elevate the device’s real-world performance. It supports photo and video capture at 1440x1080 resolution, stored on a microSD card (up to 128GB). Connectivity includes USB Type-C, HDMI output, and Wi-Fi streaming through the PardVision2 app.
Powered by a standard 18650 Li-Ion battery, the Leopard LE4-35 LRF provides up to 6 hours of operation and supports charging via USB Type-C. The body is made from aluminum alloy and composite materials, rated IP67 for waterproof and dustproof protection, and weighs only 360g including LRF and battery.
