The Merino T-Shirt 155 from MERKEL GEAR is made from 100% ultra-fine, non-scratch, silky-soft merino wool. The wool with a certificate of origin has been sourced from beautiful South Africa since 2021. The T-shirt can be worn individually or as a “first layer” in a multi-layer system. In addition to the particularly fine wool, chafing caused by backpack straps during extreme hunts is prevented by the extremely strong, high material thickness of 155 g/m² (competitors often only use 120 g/m²), which is ideal for hunting purposes. The shirt is extended at the back to warm the kidneys and prevent cold air gaps from forming in the first place. Pure Merino wool in selected qualities is the best thing you can wear on the skin: good water transport, wool acts as an energy store, keeps you warm even when damp and returns energy to the body when necessary. The wool's own creatine also prevents bacterial growth and thus avoids the release of odors.
