The Hawke Frontier 3-18X50 SF IR FFP Riflescope - Mil Pro Ext Recticle, 34mm, Black gives you a great option for shooting at extreme distance because of its high zoom ratio and the new H7 optics system, combined with the larger 34mm aluminum mono tube. You'll get great views no matter what the weather throws at you because of the 50mm objective lens, and longer ranges are no problem because of the holdover markings on the reticle. You'll appreciate the patented exposed Zero Lock 'N' Stop elevation turret because it means you don't have to count clicks or revolutions while dialing, since you can set a zero and simply turn it clockwise until it physically stops back at your zero. You can adjust it in a range of 46 MRAD using 1/10 MRAD clicks, and you can adjust the windage turret in a range of 25 MRAD using 1/10 MRAD clicks.
The Hawke Frontier 34 FFP gives you side focus for parallax free views from 15 yards to infinity. It gives you better performance at long distance than other scopes because it uses 21 layer fully multicoated lenses and optics with high grade, low dispersion crown glass. You also get peace of mind with Hawke's no fault lifetime warranty, and the lenses are waterproof, shockproof, fog proof, and nitrogen purged for reliability. The FFP (first focal plane) Mil Pro Ext. reticle on this scope gives you 11 levels (with off positions in between) of multi LED high intensity red illumination on the center brackets. Plus, you get black hollow posts on the outsides of the left, right, and bottom, and .1, .2, and 1 mil brackets, plus .5 mil holdover dots with a .09 or .04 MRAD diameter. All spacing is accurate on all magnifications with the FFP design.
